The Order of Christian Initiation  of Adults (OCIA) program is a comprehensive, faith-filled journey designed for adults who are seeking to become fully initiated into the Catholic Church. This program welcomes those who have never been baptized, those baptized in other Christian traditions, and baptized Catholics who have not completed their sacrament of initiation (Confirmation and Holy Eucharist).

The OCIA process involves several stages, including Inquiry, Catechumenate, Purification and Enlightenment, and Mystagog, each providing a deepening understanding of the Catholic faith. Participants engage in weekly sessions covering Scripture, teachings of the Church, liturgy, and prayer, guided by a dedicated team of clergy, catechists, and parishioners. The program fosters a supportive community, nurturing spiritual growth and preparing individuals to fully participate in the sacramental life of the church. Through catechesis, ritual celebrations, and personal reflection, the OCIA journey culminates in the reception of the Sacraments during the Easter season, marking a profound step in the participant's faith journey.

If you are interested in becoming Catholic, please fill out the form below and contact Father Rymdeika or Deacon Mirabelli at the parish office, 215-672-2881.
