Special Projects Update
The parish would like to extend sincere thanks to Larry Heinz and Jack Horchar for their months of hard work to erect 2 new parking lot poles on the property across from the Farmhouse. With the loss of the Penn Mutual building, we also lost their outside lighting, makin it very dark in that corner of the property.
Larry Heinz volunteered to manage the project, with planning beginning back in the Fall of 2025. Once the work began in Spring 2026, Jack Horchar worked alongside Larry to dig trenches, run electrical lines, pour concrete, and install the poles. Special thanks to Ron Fabrizio and Ron Hawthorne who also worked on the trenching with Larry and Jack.
Their efforts saved the parish many thousands of dollars! Your Special Project donations covered the cost of the poles, parts, and equipment rentals.
In total, the parish received $16,888 in Special Project donations in fiscal year 2026. The Parking Lot Pole Project cost $7500. In addition to the project, we had multiple trees removed, purchased new carpet for the parish office, and made major repairs to the church's heating system.
We are so blessed here at St Catherine's to have such generous parishioners willing to give their time, talent, and treasure to our parish! Thank you.
